Hanson Zhang founded Runjia New Material in 2015 in Changle, Shandong Province. Over the past 11 years, he has built the company from a single production line into a BRC-certified manufacturer with 3 silicone coating lines, a 35,000 m² facility, an annual capacity of 36,000 tonnes, and exports to 20+ countries across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
Company Journey
Established Shandong Runjia New Material with an initial focus on silicone-coated food contact paper. First production line commissioned for baking paper and parchment paper.
Expanded to 3 production lines. Achieved BRC Global Standard for Packaging certification. Began exporting to Japan, Russia, and the Middle East.
Maintained 100% delivery rate during COVID-19 supply chain disruptions. Invested in R&D for eco-friendly unbleached parchment and air fryer liner products. Filed multiple utility model patents.
Completed 35,000 m² modernized workshop with automated coating, slitting, and packaging lines. Annual silicone-coated paper capacity reached 36,000 tonnes. Obtained FSC, SEDEX, and KOSHER certifications.

A Note From Hanson
“I started this factory in 2015 with one coating line and three workers. Our first overseas order was 2 tonnes of baking paper for a Japanese distributor — they sent their QC team to our workshop, and they spent two full days testing every roll before they approved the shipment. That experience taught me something I have never forgotten: in this business, your coating line is only as good as the data you can show for it.
Eleven years later, we run 3 production lines, ship to 20+ countries, and hold BRC, ISO, FDA, KOSHER, SEDEX, and FSC certifications. But the principle has not changed. When a new buyer asks me ‘Why should I choose Runjia?’, I do not give them a sales pitch. I give them our coating weight test reports, our migration data, our BRC audit results, and a sample they can put in their own oven.
